Mercer County Jail Mugshots Overview

Booking Photos vs Arrest Information
New Jersey law draws a practical line between facts about an arrest and a jail image taken during booking. Arrest information can include the arrestee's name, age, residence, occupation, marital status, time and place of arrest, charges, arresting agency or personnel, bail amount, and whether bail was posted. A booking photo is a different record. It may be withheld even if the arrest information is released.

Mercer Sheriff Most Wanted Photos
The Mercer County Sheriff's Office does publish a Most Wanted channel and a mobile app with Most Wanted and tip features. That is not the same as an MCCC jail mugshot roster. The sheriff page says fugitives are listed only after all possibilities to locate them have been exhausted, and it warns the public not to contact, apprehend, or detain fugitives. How Long Mugshots Stay Online
